All our classes offer introduction to yoga philosophy and incorporate the use of Ujjayi breath with heartfelt spirituality.

Private instruction is also available.

Yoga Basics

Highly recommended for students new to yoga and for experienced yoga practitioners wishing to review fundamentals of alignment and breath work. This class emphasizes basic yoga postures that build core strength and flexibility.

 

All Levels

A class suitable for all levels of students. Beginning students will receive instruction and help appropriate to their level while experienced students will be offered more challenging variations of some of the poses taught.

 

All Levels Vinyasa

Same as All Levels (above), but because of their short duration, these classes are taught in a more flowing manner. Less time is spent on teaching how to get into the asanas with good alignment. We encourage that, in addition to participating in the vinyasa classes, you also take our longer classes at a level of your choice and ability. So, you can create a foundation of good alignment and balanced action in your yoga practice.

 

Intermediate

A class for continuing students who have a good understanding of the basics. This class incorporates more vinyasa (flowing movements linking the postures together) and creative variations of the asanas. These can be demanding classes. We prefer if students who attend this class has at least 4-6 months of regular attendance in either yoga basics or all levels.

 

Intermediate / Advanced

Good knowledge of the Anusara Yoga® Universal Principles of Alignment is strongly suggested for people who want to attend this class. This class will explore more advanced variations of the whole spectrum of yoga asanas. We prefer that students can do headstand free-standing, urdhva dhanurasana with straight arms, and kick up into handstand at the wall without assistance.

Please note — this class is not appropriate for beginners. Attending and modifying a lot is not encouraged. If you are unsure whether this class is appropriate for you, please ask the instructors for advice before attending.
