I had gone through a lifetime of hurting my body through first gymnastics, then dance, then teaching power step upwards of 10–12 hours per week. I started to lose mobility in my right hip, had little injuries everywhere, and just needed something more healing and nurturing than hardcore athletics. Yoga helps me in ways that are difficult to put into words. It just feels right on every level — not just the physical. I have the mobility back in my hip and a new understanding of how mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected. I love to bring my own experiences into my teaching and to keep classes lively and fun. I have lived in Flagstaff for 33 years. I live with my very patient husband, Larry, and my two neurotic and needy hounds, Roxy and Ellie.
